Our Role
Located in Kensington and built on the Northern Line, Oval Station served 5.91 million commuters in 2013. Originally built in 1890 as part of the City & South London Railway, it was the standard gauge tube as well as the first railway to employ electric track in London. The station was rebuilt in the early 1920s as a modernising measure and the street level was refurbished to give the station a more modern feel in 2008. Due to the fact that the station is located near the Oval cricket ground it has cricket themed tiling throughout the inside.
