Our Role

A new station on the Circle MRT Line in Singapore, built as part of the Downtown Extension at Marina Bay (DTMB) where an integrated resort and Singapore’s second botanical garden is located.
The 3.4-kilometre fully underground extension cost around S$1.4 billion. Four underground stations link the Promenade station on the Circle Line and the Chinatown station on the North East Line. Two stations, named Bayfront and Landmark, were built along Cross Street near the Chinatown area to serve the DTMB area and Cross Street. Like the North East Line, the MRT Line is driverless, fully automatic and entirely underground.
Part of the Circle Line was operational by 2008, with the entire line completed by 2010. It was originally scheduled to be fully operational by 2008, but the Nicoll Highway collapse caused a setback in construction time.
